Proxyma Design is the entrepreneurial and creative venture I'm most proud of. Founded in 2022, it emerged from my desire to challenge myself, meet new people, and acquire and manage clients. It’s been an adventure that embodies my vision of a dynamic and innovative creative agency, where fresh ideas and bold approaches come together to deliver exceptional results.
Challenge and Goals:
The aim of the site was to create a dynamic portfolio that showcases the agency's past and current projects, bringing them to life. Beyond providing clear information about the services offered, we developed an interactive dashboard to keep clients updated on the progress of their projects, ensuring transparency and engagement every step of the way.
The focus was on:
Team
The core team consisted of just two people, myself and my partner Mari Masini. However, we were supported by various agencies and industry professionals throughout the development of this project, including Luca Francescetti (Art Director and former Senior Digital Designer at AQuest) and Jacopo Pesavento (CEO of Branding Records). Their expertise and collaboration were instrumental in bringing the vision to life.
My role
As a member of a small agency, my role extended far beyond technical tasks like website creation and development. I managed the entire client journey: from initial acquisition and needs analysis to the final site deployment, ensuring every request was met within the expected timelines. This 360° approach allowed me to deliver a personalized, high-quality service.
Specifically, I handled:
Design validation:
The brand identity evolved over time through the development of various versions of the website. After a comprehensive A/B testing phase, including real-time quantitative feedback collection, we decided to proceed with version B. This version proved to be more readable and significantly easier for the average user selected during our tests to interact with, ensuring a more intuitive and effective experience.
Design Scalability
The chosen version was designed with maximum scalability in mind, leveraging reusable components to optimize the entire development process. This approach minimized the number of classes and instances, ensuring a cleaner, more efficient, and easily maintainable system.
