Algor Education (Landing)

Algor Education is an innovative digital platform that enhances learning with advanced tools for creating concept maps and interactive educational content. Designed for students, teachers, and educational institutions, Algor Education offers a wide range of features, including automatic map generation from text, video, and audio, as well as interactive tools like flashcards, quizzes, and structured summaries.

Challenge and Goals:

WHERE TO START
  1. User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements across nearly all site pages to optimize user navigation and interaction.
  2. Defining the Direction of Algor: The first step was to establish the direction for Algor, focusing on an optimization that aligns with the site’s goals and enhances the associated user experience.
  3. Making the Storytelling More Immersive: Explore the potential for more engaging and captivating storytelling in the initial section of the Home page. The goal is to capture users' interest right from the start and encourage them to proceed with registration.
  4. Consolidating the Existing Design: Maintain and strengthen the current design, making minor adjustments where needed to ensure clear communication of the mood and message that Algor aims to convey.

Team

WHOM WITH

During the analysis and research phase of this project, no additional team members were introduced beyond myself. However, in the final phase, several stakeholders were involved in presenting the wireframe for the future site, ensuring comprehensive review and feedback.

Funnel Analysis

CASE STUDY

The goal of this analysis was to map out the most frequented user flows, allowing for a focused allocation of financial and temporal resources in the most utilized areas. This approach ensured targeted optimization, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency in the regions of highest interaction.

The most frequented areas are:

  • The discovery section of Algor Cards
  • The initialization of the checkout process

UI/UX Analysis

DETAILS MATTER

The goal of this analysis is to identify inconsistencies with the style guide and among various elements of the web app. The analysis revealed several discrepancies, such as those found in the testimonial cards, and highlighted the need to rethink or adapt some of the illustrations on the site. The pages with the most critical issues are those related to the "Pricing" plans and the "Algor Cards.

The Benchmark

ABOUT COMPETITORS

Before initiating the benchmarking phase, we identified the key features on which to focus our efforts. These areas were selected in advance to ensure our intervention was targeted and strategic, maximizing the impact and effectiveness of our work.

  1. Home (Above the Fold): It should provide a clear yet comprehensive preview of the services offered and the essential information needed by the user.
  2. Testimonial Section: It should reassure the user by conveying trustworthiness and security.
  3. Interactive Element: Allow users to "experience" the product right from the Home page by interacting with at least one element, helping them feel like a part of Algor even before registering their information.

Study on Introducing New Features (Benchmark)

NEW PROPOSALS

During the benchmarking phase, we identified innovative features utilized by competitors that could inspire future updates. As a result, a dedicated section was created for potential features designed to bring significant improvements to the user experience (UX).

The Wireframe

THE CONCLUSION

The development of the wireframe, along with prototyping for both desktop and mobile, allowed us to test and refine the proposed changes. The goal was to significantly enhance the user experience (UX) and increase the conversion rate during the Algor trial flow. This approach helped us identify and address potential pain points in the current design, optimizing the user journey to make it more intuitive and engaging.
